Al Jazeera America, San Francisco, CA – Supervising Audio Post Mixer
2013-2016
Lead for all audio post-production services throughout the network. Collaborated daily with show teams and producers in the San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC bureaus.
- Mixed and supervised sound for network original programming, commissioned work and interdepartmental productions.
- Created and established the network’s audio post production protocols and workflows in anticipation of AJAM’s launch in August ’13.
- Trained and supervised freelance mixing staff of up to 4 mixers.
- Collaborated with New York promos department to sound design and mix hundreds of on-air AJAM promos.
- Produced and co-created REVOLUTIONS, a Science and Technology podcast series.
- Mixed AJAM weekly original programming including the multiple award winning series Faultlines, as well as TechKnow, and Talk to Al Jazeera and Listening Post.

2005 –2013
- Mixed all on-air content including multiple weekly network series, viewer-contributed documentary pieces and on-air promos.
- Created sound design for show opens, animations and promos.
- Established the post workflow between the video editors and the audio post staff including audio file delivery guidelines and specifications.
- Collaborated with creative departments and new enterprises to ensure consistency across divisions.

- Supervised all client based and in-house music and sound productions.
- Recorded and mixed large and complex live scoring sessions to picture.
- Mixed for a variety of formats primarily for Radio/TV/Film and also many game and toy formats.

- Performed everything from copy writing and sound design to music scoring and final mix. National ad clients included: Pepsi, Cellular One, the Money Store, and Macy's.

- Created derivative and original sound design environments for permanent installation in the Science Fiction Experience museum in Seattle.
- Executed dialog editing, postproduction services, sound design and live music tracking for AFGHANISTAN: HELL OF A NATION for PBS and the Sundance Film Festival 2004.
- Compiled, remixed and re-mastered music tracks for a “Best of” CD for the Japanese DVD animation series JOJO.
